Overview
The company under the name Chr. BOZNOS & SON SA was founded in 1948 in Piraeus as a sole proprietorship by Christos Boznos. In 1951, his son Georgios Boznos entered the company and on his own initiative the company was the first to launch in the Greek market the drive transmission products, including a new product for the time, named electric gear unit. In 1953 the company became a general supplier for industrial products and due to its rapid development within a few years it became a pioneer in the drive transmission systems and a leading business in lifting machinery, marine engines and industrial plastics, acquiring in 1964 its current legal form and name, CHR. BOZNOS & SON SA.
Today, the company is run by its fourth generation and is focused on drive transmission products, industrial automation and lifting machinery. It represents some of the largest manufacturers of the world in these fields, such as SEW - EURODRIVE, VOITH TURBO, WARNER, KTR, CMCO (YALE) etc. CHR. BOZNOS & SON SA is registered in Piraeus, having a branch in Thessaloniki and a subsidiary in Skopje. Since 2000, the company has been awarded with an ISO 9001 quality certificate.
