Overview
Nea Odos is the concession company which has undertaken the construction, operation, exploitation and maintenance of “Ionia Odos” project, with primary objective to provide safe and faster transportation conditions, as well as high quality services, to all motorway’s users.The project, measuring 380km, concerns the construction of Ionia Odos Motorway, expanding from Antirrio until Ioannina areas (total length: 196 km), as well as the management and maintenance of Athe section from Metamorfosi to Skarfia (total length: 172km) and finally, the 11km connective branch Schimatari-Chalkida.Apart from the construction, based on the most modern, reliable, international standards, a motorway – just like a living organism – requires continuous monitoring, in order to be kept in excellent, safe mode. Nea Odos has undertaken the 30-year operation and maintenance of Ionia Odos concession project. Our top priority is to ensure the safety of motorway users. At the same time, our main concern is to make them feel that Nea Odos is the best possible travelling companion. In the view of offering high quality services, the company has designed and provides to motorway’s users the following:1. 24/7 Road Safety Patrols2. Traffic Management Centers3. 4-digit Emergency Telephone Number (1075)4. Emergency Phones located along the Motorway5. Free Road Assistance to Immobilized Vehicles6.
