Due to the continuous growth of our company, we are currently looking for an IT Applications Support Engineer to join our team.

Job Summary

The IT Applications Support Engineer manages application issues, supports users, and works with first-level support to ensure system efficiency. He/She handles incidents via the ITSM platform, investigating and escalating as needed for quick resolution. 

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage the ITSM platform of the incident management system, ensuring that all incidents are analyzed and routed for resolution.
  • Collaborate closely with other IT teams and external partners to resolve issues.
  • Investigate and resolve user problems.
  • Work with development teams to solve difficult technical problems.
  • Support the creation of root-cause analysis for recurring problems and the promotion of solutions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Handle service requests based on the service catalog and agreed SLAs.
  • Support the Commercial team in handling customer requests and inquiries.
  • Monitor the health of applications/systems, identifying problems.
  • Support the organization and scheduling of system/application upgrades and updates.
  • Produce documentation for user manuals, FAQs, and training materials.
 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Computer Systems Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with cloud applications and monitoring tools.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms.
  • Fluency in Greek and in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and develop actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills, ability to work under tight deadlines.
