We are seeking a Security Operations Engineer who will be responsible for managing the day-to-day security operations, ensuring the protection of digital assets, responding to security incidents, and implementing security technologies. Stepping into this role, you'll become a member of a dynamic team, directly contributing to the ongoing success and impact of our projects.

This position reports directly to the Security Operations Supervisor.

Responsibilities

Develop & enforce security policies and best practices for Microsoft 365.
Configure and optimize Microsoft Defender for Office 365 and related tools.
Design, implement, and maintain security infrastructure and solutions to protect company assets and data.
Monitor and analyze security events, investigate incidents, and respond to security alerts.
Collaborate with IT to enhance endpoint security and identity access management.
Ensure compliance with internal security policies and industry regulations
Work with cross-functional teams to integrate security into workflows, applications, and infrastructure.

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Knowledge of Entra ID (Conditional Access, Multifactor Authentication, Passwordless Authentication, Privileged Identity Management, Identity Protection )
Proven experience securing Microsoft 365, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Intune, and other Microsoft security solutions.
Relevant certifications (e.g., MS-500, AZ-500) are a plus.
Strong communication skills and teamworking with cross-functional groups.
Strong analytical skills with ability to execute and complete deliverables in a fast-paced environment
Troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
Fluency in English and Greek, both oral and written.
