AETHON is an engineering SME working on innovative and cutting-edge technology products for smart cities, transportation, mobility, logistics and energy. We take pride in our forward thinking and enjoy out-of-the-box ideas and solutions. We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join our team and work on ongoing Research-Development-Innovation projects and steer AETHON to excellent technical outcomes.

Responsibilities

Design and implement project management plans;
Participate, supervise and lead the execution of RDI projects throughout their lifecycle;
Implement objectives and handle communication with project stakeholders and partners;
Monitor, assess and steer projects’ execution in order to achieve results and deliverables that are of excellent quality, on time and on budget.
Foster relationships with strategic company partners;
Work alone or as part of a team to design projects and capitalize on new opportunities and business leads;
Work under the team’s framework and provide optimizations, improvements and extensions;
Participate in Project Management Office’s activities for collaborative decision making and co-development actions.

BSc or MSc in a field of engineering or closely relevant;
Minimum 2 years in a position of Project Management or a position relevant to your field of study;
Well-developed organizational skills, team management skills and ability to motivate and enable teams to meet deadlines, resilience, responsible and quality conscious working;
Excellent knowledge and usage of the English language;
Ability to communicate exquisitely verbally, in writing and through presentations;
Effective in negotiations and conflict resolution;
Able to work with minimum supervision both independently and as part of a team;
Being able to travel short-term in Europe;
A collaborative attitude, team spirit and out-of-the-box thinking.

Good to have

Experience in designing tender’s or innovation project’s (e.g., Horizon2020) proposals and coordinating or implementing projects;
Solid knowledge of another language;
PMP, PRINCE2 or other relevant Project Management certifications.
