Basic Information

 You will manage the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle for the specified assets at Group level, so that they meet global business and customer needs in alignment with doValue’s IT Strategy. You will be the single point of contact/reference of the entire organization for the given IT application asset and the Group IT interface with Business owners, local IT’s and Vendors for a given 

Responsibilities


  • Manage the configuration and customization of the different software packages so that they satisfy customer needs at global level, striving for simplicity, reusability and efficiency
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g. business stakeholders, asset owners, project managers, architects and end users) to understand functional and non-functional requirements
  • Investigate and propose solutions to development and design problems
  • Participate in scope of work estimation and forecasting
  • Adhere to architecture, design, implementation, and security standards and best practices
  • Promote high quality software delivery in alignment with target business outcomes
  • Conduct analysis to determine integration needs, and design and plan integrations
  • Oversee unit and integration tests and conduct functional and performance testing where appropriate
  • Drive reusability of software building blocks to enable faster delivery
  • Improve performance of existing software by diagnosing and resolving critical issues
  • Oversee the preparation of technical documentation (by third parties or internal teams), including functional analysis documents, software design plans, test results, and technical manuals
  • Adhere to doValue’s established architecture standards, software delivery practices and processes
  • Analyze and lead the configuration of the solutions in accordance with user requirements
  • Review new releases of packaged software and identify new features that can be enabled for the business
  • Cost monitoring (contracts, licenses, usage etc). Ensuring that software assets are managed and optimized through their lifecycle from purchase to retirement and develop action plans for upcoming renewal dates.

Requirements

IT Infrastructure Management
Software Design
  • Experience as a software engineer: 8+ years for senior-level roles
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent applied experience)
  • Background in Financial Services, servicing preferred
  • Leadership experience and ability to direct team workflows

Good to have

 
  • Strong proficiency in two or more of the assets to be supported (Business Process Management, RPA, Document Management., e-signature, Audit, Procurement, ITSM, Intranet)
  • Experience managing third party vendors and system integrators in a global context
  • Experience with Azure infrastructure
  • Understanding of software development lifecycles.
  • Strong ability to understand context for code, the codebase, and its relation to business objectives.
  • Ability to work both independently and on a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Fluency in English, both written and oral
