The IT PMO Manager will be responsible for establishing and maintaining project management standards, processes, and governance across IT projects related to banking operations. This role involves oversight of multiple projects, facilitating best practices, and enhancing the effectiveness of project teams. 

Responsibilities

 
The primary responsibilities of the IT PMO Manager include:

  • Coordinate communication between project teams, senior management, and stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and transparent project environment.
  • Maintain and updates project tracking tools, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation for small projects.
  • Support IT small projects by coordinating resources, updating relevant tools, and preparing presentations and reports for executive management.
  • Manage and supervises project implementation, including testing phases, ensuring adherence to TESTING methodology using Azure DevOps (ADO).
  • Execute the Release Management Procedure, coordinating defect management processes related to quality assurance and testing, addressing issues based on severity and impact.
  • Support the PM or Technical Team to ensure consistency in project management practices across the organization.
  • Generate reports and dashboards, providing visibility into project status and performance.
  • Assist the Head of Portfolio & Project Management in organizing tactical PM meetings, Steering Committees, and Delivery Control Towers.
  • Provide training and support to project teams on tool usage.
  • Monitor project KPIs and compliance with methodologies and guidelines, reporting progress and potential issues to the Head of Portfolio & Project Management.

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in project management, with at least 2 years in a PMO role, preferably within the banking sector.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile, Lean).
  • Proven ability to manage and oversee multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with experience in mentoring and coaching project managers.
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on process improvement.
  • Fluency in Greek and English.
  • PMO or project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP, etc.) are highly regarded.
