Responsibilities

The position is vital in supporting the development, execution, and monitoring of health and safety practices throughout the organization. The role involves assisting in the management of various health and safety functions, with a focus on mitigating occupational risks and ensuring a safe working environment. The jobholder provides advice on continuous health and safety improvements, helping to minimize incidents and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Additionally, the position serves as the designated representative to the Ministry of Labor, in accordance with Law 3850/2010, for specific areas and activities assigned.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Occupational Health & Safety Management. 
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in corporate health and safety, preferably within a large or multinational corporate environment. 
  • NEBOSH IGC General Certificate and/or ELINYAE Safety Practitioner’s 100hrs orientation program desirable. 
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation, safety management principles, and current best practices. 
  • Fluency in both Greek and English, both written and spoken. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). 
  •  Exceptional organizational, analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
