Basic Information

SEC, a technical company with significant presence and rapid growth in the construction of public and private projects, is seeking a Financial Controller to lead its finance department, ensure financial stability, and drive the company's strategic growth.

Responsibilities

Tax Compliance & Audits: Supervise the accounting department to ensure compliance with tax regulations, collaborating with external auditors and advisors for the company and its subsidiaries/affiliates.
Cashflow Management: Plan and monitor cash flows and credit risk.
Budget Planning: Prepare and track the annual company budget.
Human Resources Management: Oversee HR-related functions.
Performance Metrics: Monitor financial KPIs like Earned Value and implement corrective actions where needed.
Financial Analysis & Reporting: Analyze financial data, prepare financial statements, and provide regular reports to management.
Process Design & Maintenance: Develop and enforce relevant procedures.
Team Leadership: Manage and develop the finance team, promoting continuous improvement and professional growth.

Requirements

Accounting

Financial Accounting

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
At least 5 years of experience in financial management.
Experience in the construction industry, particularly in public projects.
Excellent knowledge of financial analysis, tax regulations, and accounting standards.
Proficiency in strategic planning and financial analysis.
Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
Leadership and team management skills.
Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
