Basic Information

GIM is seeking a full-time skilled Web Developer to join the Developers team and report directly to the CEO Karolos Tsiligkirian. The position is for full-time and we are looking for an experienced Web Developer with extensive knowledge and thorough understanding of PHP, MySQL, HTML/CSS, jQuery. At this time the position is not available for junior level with baseline skills.

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities:

Create wireframes/mockups and touch final web codebase
Work closely with Product and Backend teams to ensure that the deliverables meet customers' needs
Work with the team and shape deliverable according to team's needs
Iterate based on client feedback
Deliver quality websites and other digital projects that meet coding standards and cross-browser compatibilities
Engage with digital teams, technical directors and digital project managers to define project specifications

Requirements

Experience with a modern frontend stack including Nodejs, ES6, Web Sockets
Experience with Magento module development
Experience with version control (GIT)
Familiarity with Linux systems
Good understanding in HTML/CSS (Sass) and up-to-date knowledge of HTML5 feature
Good understanding of web services; SOAP, REST, JSON, XML
Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a full stack development role within a full-service agency or start-up environment
Object Oriented PHP skills and experience with Zend framework
Strong educational background in Computer Science or similar field
Strong experience in PHP/MySQL.
Strong experience of JavaScript & Ajax
