Hellas Gold is one of the leading mining companies in Greece, specializing in the extraction of gold, silver, lead, and zinc. We are currently seeking an entry level Open Pit Mobile Maintenance / Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team. The role is responsible for providing reliability engineering services to the mine department, specifically relating to compliance, defect elimination, asset performance improvements, maintenance cost reduction and condition monitoring.

Responsibilities

Carry out reliability and maintenance engineering functions in accordance with the Eldorado Asset Management System.
Be a site leader in the promotion of reliability throughout the organization.
Contribute to the review, development and implementation of systems, processes and procedures that identify improvements to equipment performance and overall sustainability of equipment life cycle.
Review and update maintenance strategies and tactics using RCM and FMCEA methodologies including PM optimization.
Ownership of the asset performance reporting system and processes, including data review and management.
Key stakeholder in the asset condition monitoring program, including input into the asset health program.
Assist maintenance technicians with condition monitoring expertise.
Coordinate external condition monitoring and/or NDT resources as required.
Utilize root cause analysis, asset management system, BI and Microsoft suite software for analysis and reporting.
Utilize downtime capture software systems to support defect elimination processes.
Lead defect elimination investigations and effectively manage the assigned failure/defects. Including defect assessment/prioritization,RCA facilitation, action assignment and change management.
Assist in development of long-range asset management schedules and budgets.
Communicate key asset management performance indicators as well as the companies’ KPIs.
Prepare periodic and activity-based reports for reliability activities and programs.

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, preferably mechanical, electrical, mining or chemical.
Experience using Asset management/maintenance modules of an ERP, ideally SAP.
Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Experience executing reliability improvement projects.
