We are currently looking for a Procurement to join our team.
Your role will encompass
Initiates tenders (RFQs) to Suppliers based on commercial input from Project Management teams and technical input from the Design Team
Evaluates tender results and presents summaries of the tendering process, including technical compliance ranking and pricing ranking
Collaborates with the Design Team to review technical solutions provided by Suppliers before approving them for fabrication
Takes responsibility for the Technical Due Diligence of new products and Suppliers, in coordination with the Design Team
Collaborates with the Design Team to draft the technical appendices of Supplier Agreements and submits them to the Project Management Team
Works alongside the Design Team to audit and review the technical appendices of EPC Contracts, providing feedback to the Project Management Team
Ensures that purchased equipment aligns with the technical specifications set forth by the Owner and Design Team
Organizes and submits technical documentation to the Owner or Owner’s Engineer throughout the bidding, financing, contracting, construction, and delivery phases
Stays updated on relevant legislation and international standards
Collaborates with the Construction Team to address any non-conformities related to equipment delivered on site
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related Engineering fields
Possess 1+ years of experience in procurement for power plants or electromechanical installations
Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Fluency in English is a must
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong planning and organizational abilities
Sharp analytical skills and attention to detail
Capable of effectively conveying ideas, facts, and technical information to various levels of management and technical teams
Ability to meet deadlines efficiently and work well under pressure
