As a Senior Researcher - ICT Architect, you will lead the design and development of innovative solutions in ICT architecture, full stack development, and embedded systems. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions in international research project and you will be developing innovative solutions for a broad range of domains.

University Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Define and maintain high-level architectural blueprints, standards, and best practices across projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate existing systems, identify improvements, and oversee implementation of architectural changes.
Proven experience in full stack development and embedded systems.
Deep expertise in architecting backend and frontend solutions using modern frameworks (such as React, Angular, Node.js), with the ability to set technical direction and best practices for development teams.
Experience in designing and integrating middleware solutions (e.g., MQTT, Kafka) within large-scale, distributed architectures.
Knowledge of systems architecture (platform architecture, processor architecture, compiler design, ABIs, Linux kernel).
Proven experience leading the design and development of embedded Linux-based systems, from concept to deployment.

Good to have

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Dart, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Strong system administration skills in Linux environments, including the ability to architect and oversee secure deployments.
Experience architecting solutions using containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) for scalable and maintainable system deployments.
Knowledge of debugging methods and tools.
Deep understanding of system design and architecture methodologies, with experience in leading architectural reviews and technical decision-making processes.
Linux Operating System (daemons, resources, directory structures, deployment of applications, security etc.).
Understanding of communication protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, etc.), IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP, AMQP, Kafka, etc.), and security standards, with the ability to architect secure, reliable communication infrastructures.
Performance-oriented programming (algorithmic and platform-dependent optimization, parallel computing, real-time programming, digital signal processing etc.).
Artificial Intelligence deployment on embedded systems.
