Special Risk Solutions (SRS) Group of Companies, a leading independent group based in Athens and a proud member of The Ardonagh Group, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Broker to support our expanding casualty reinsurance operations.

This is an opportunity for a young professional with 2–3 years of relevant experience to grow within a fast-moving and collaborative environment while playing a key role in our client and market interactions.

Responsibilities

Assist the Manager/Senior Broker in placing reinsurance coverage between insurers and reinsurers.
Draft, review, and manage key documentation including slips, cover notes, and contracts.
Coordinate effectively with producers, reinsurers, and internal departments to manage client needs and responses.
Support renewal processes and monitor ongoing placement activity.
Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in all deliverables.

Requirements

Insurance Brokerage

Insurance Claims

2–3 years in a similar role within the (re)insurance industry.
Βachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, Risk Management/Insurance, or Statistics.
Solid knowledge of insurance and reinsurance markets.
Strong technical, analytical, and documentation capabilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Clear written and verbal communication.
Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure.
Team spirit, adaptability, and initiative.
Broker License or in the process of acquiring it.
Fluent in English; additional languages are a strong asset.
Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings, market visits, or industry conferences.
