On behalf of our client, a company active in the field of engineering constructions, we are looking for an Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the accounting department.
Manage all accounting and tax obligations (Greek GAAP, MyData, VAT, withholding taxes, corporate income tax).
Oversee payroll and collaborate with external tax advisors and auditors for the tax certificate and statutory financial statements.
Prepare and deliver financial reports to management (P&L per project, cash flow, guarantee letters).
Monitor financial operations related to public works, private construction projects, and joint ventures.
Lead, guide, and support the accounting team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Team Management

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; Master’s degree will be considered an asset.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in accounting, including experience in a managerial role.
Solid knowledge of Greek Accounting Standards, IFRS, and tax legislation.
Hands-on experience with MyData and accounting ERP systems.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
