Hellas Gold is one of the leading mining companies in Greece, specializing in the extraction of gold, silver, lead, and zinc. We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The purpose of this role is to manage the implementation of Hellas Gold capital projects in accordance with the project AFE, budget owner’s requirements and objectives. In doing so, the project Manager will ensure that the necessary planning, budgeting, cost, schedule, and performance metrics are defined, agreed upon with management and that the project is executed to achieve those goals.

Responsibilities

Ensure development of an integrated project plan that meets or exceeds stakeholder requirements, execute to the plan and implement change control across the project as required.
Ensure that a written project scope is prepared that includes all the work required, and, to complete the project successfully e.g. define and what is or is not included in the project, including the design basis, major project deliverables and acceptance criteria for the project.
Manage the processes required to define and achieve the technical requirements needed to deliver the project scope, including the identification and selection of the appropriate technology, and engineering cost-effective solutions that enhance the value proposition for each project in collaboration with project stakeholders.
Develop a detail project time schedule that identifies the specific project activities that must be performed, identifies and documents the interactivity dependencies, estimate the activity duration on the basis of the quantity of measurable work, the productivity and resources required to complete it. Execute to the schedule.
Ensure that the project is completed within the approved budget by defining and quantifying the work activities and associated resources in order to estimate the project costs and measure commitments, expenditure, earned value and progress against the project budget.
Provide and implement organizational planning that addresses stakeholder requirements by identifying, documenting, and assigning project roles, responsibilities, and reporting relationships.
Use the established systematic process of identifying, analyzing, and responding to project risk and opportunity.
Coordinate the procurement-related project processes to ensure the timely scope definition, tendering, ordering and delivery of purchased or contracted goods and services.
Manage the required on-site and off-site activities undertaken to fulfill the project scope, including the fabrication, assembly, erection, installation, testing and commissioning of the equipment, systems and facilities being provided as part of the project.

Higher degree in engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical)
6+ years of experience in capital projects management or contract coordination/supervision.
Understanding of basic legal premises, jargon and structure of engineering and construction project contracts.
