Basic Information

Hellas Gold is one of the leading mining companies in Greece, specializing in the extraction of gold, silver, lead, and zinc. We are currently seeking a Construction Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The Construction Coordinator will provide daily, field-based coordination and oversight of construction activities to ensure safety, quality, schedule
adherence, and smooth interface between contractors and the owner's project team.

Responsibilities

Act as the owner’s daily representative on site, interfacing with EPCM or contractor site supervisors
Monitor site works for compliance with scope, design intent, and construction quality standards
Ensure safe access, coordination between trades, and resolution of space or sequencing issues
Identify and escalate site conflicts, RFIs, and non-conformances (NCRs) promptly to the PM
Maintain a daily site log of progress, site incidents, deviations, and open items
Support the closeout of punch lists and field verification activities
Validate physical progress against planned milestones or schedule
Ensure alignment with construction schedules, shutdowns, and interface points
Monitor construction activities for alignment with site HSE protocols
Participate in toolbox talks, field audits, and permit-to-work reviews as required

Technological Educational Institute degree in Civil, Mechanical, Infrastructure or related field. For candidates with solid hands on experience in construction supervision, technical education degree is acceptable.
5–10 years of site-based experience in construction coordination, field engineering, or supervision
Previous work in owner’s team or EPCM support role is highly desirable
Strong safety culture and practical approach to issue resolution
Familiarity with construction drawings, method statements, QA/QC procedures
Understanding of project controls principles (progress measurement, variation logging)
