Cordia S.A., leader in Facility Management & Energy Services, is looking to hire a Safety Engineer, based in Athens.
Responsibilities
Provision of services on issues related to health & safety at work and the prevention of accidents at work
Conducts regular site inspections and identify hazards
Support and update the Written Occupational Risk Assessment
Supervision of working conditions (inspection of jobs, proper use of PPE, accident investigation at work, etc.)
Improvement of working conditions in the company and projects of the company's competence (participation in the training and implementation of training programs on health and safety at work, ensuring compliance with health and safety rules, etc.)
Cooperation with the Departments of Operations, Personnel and Quality
Coordinate with external bodies (Labour Inspectorate, Occupational Physician, auditors)
Keeping relevant documents and records in accordance with current legislation
Monitoring of ISO 45001 standard requirements
Requirements
Mechanical Engineering
Process Optimization
Holder of a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Minimum proven experience 5 years in a similar position (especially in building and industrial facilities)
Very good knowledge of legislation
Very good knowledge of English
Good knowledge of MS Office
Possibility to travel
Accuracy and care in keeping procedures and records
