On behalf of our client, a well-established greek company active in the construction and real estate development sector, known for delivering high-quality projects and managing complex operations, is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. The organization offers a structured, professional environment with opportunities for development in advanced accounting and financial management within the construction industry.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily accounting operations for construction projects.
Track contractor agreements, certifications, invoicing, and project payments.
Prepare weekly and monthly project financial reports and monitor project budgets.
Manage tax compliance, payroll-related reconciliations, and supplier/subcontractor payments.
Ensure accurate ERP (SoftOne) entries and maintain organized documentation.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and banks to validate project progress and approvals.
Support the preparation of financial statements and external reporting.

5+ years of experience in Accounting, preferably experience in a construction company.
Strong knowledge of project-based accounting, certifications, and contractor contracts.
Good understanding of tax rules and payroll-related reconciliations.
Excellent command of Excel; experience with SoftOne is a strong asset.
Ability to work independently, manage pressure, and handle multiple projects.
Strong organizational skills, detail orientation, and reliability.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
