We are looking for a Junior Back-End Developer (NodeJS) in Thessaloniki.

Our Deloitte Central Mediterranean practice (Greece, Italy, Malta) hosts our Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Magento/Adobe Commerce competence center. We are growing the pipeline of Italian based clients, thus, we are expanding to support international collaboration opportunities within Deloitte member firms across EMEA. You will be part of a project delivery team, with colleagues in Greece but as well as members of other international offices, including Italy. Delivering front and / or back-end development tasks, as part of an Agile Scrum team. The projects will focus on the delivery of Salesforce Commerce Cloud, based on Digital Commerce platforms.

You will have the opportunity to:

Learn and deepen your understanding of the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform, the leading Digital Commerce platform globally, through dedicated training, real project experience, and a certification path.

Depending on your previous experience and aptitude, you will progressively be able to:

Master Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform development and solution design.
Interpret functional documentation (user stories) and translate these into technical solutions.
Refine your technical skills in NodeJS, JavaScript, REST API, and Git.
Excel in technological system integration design.
Conduct testing and verification (unit, system, integration, and acceptance).

Degree related to Computer Engineering, Information Engineering, Computer Science, and Information Technology.
Excellent knowledge of English and strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work autonomously but also within a team, high motivation for consulting field and analytical and problem-solving attitude.
Proficiency in back-end languages such as NodeJS and JavaScript.
Familiarity with REST API.
Ability to write efficient, secure, and clean code.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in teams.
Flexibility and strong motivation to work in the fast-paced consulting field.
Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
Availability to travel.
