The position was mainly established for the purpose of supporting the Risk, Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (RQHSE) Division. In general, the Quality & HSE Engineer assists in all health, safety and environmental matters at both Corporate & Project levels. The candidate is required under limited supervision and direction, to perform a variety of responsible and complex technical and administrative duties relating to some or all of the following functional areas: departmental development, technical procedures, manuals, audits, identification of RQHSE related problems, corrective actions, ensure that applicable legislation, rules, regulations and industry standards are registered; provides support and assistance to the preparation and implementation of RQHSE Manual, QA/QC plans, risk assessments, and environmental impact studies; prepares various correspondence and memoranda, coordinates activities and performs a variety of tasks requiring specialized knowledge related to area of assignment.
