Basic Information

We’re looking for an IT Systems & Support Specialist who will help maintain and gradually improve cloud infrastructure, backups, monitoring, and everyday IT operations across both WeConnect and one of our partner companies. This role combines Azure/AWS, Office 365, networking, and hands-on troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain Azure & AWS servers, including backups, monitoring, alerts, storage, and system health 
  •  Help structure and improve backup policies for SQL Server, PostgreSQL, SAP B1, and general IT systems 
  •  Assist with Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, email administration, and user management 
  •  Provide day-to-day IT support for common operational issues (PCs, printers, browsers, email, user troubleshooting) 
  •  Support networking and infrastructure needs across both cloud and on-site environments 
  •  Help maintain and improve documentation, IT procedures, and operational checklists 
  •  Collaborate with internal teams and external specialists to improve IT reliability and long-term processes 
  •  Assist with device setup, formatting (when necessary), and general IT process improvement

Requirements

IT Operations
  • Background in IT, Networking, Systems Administration, Computer Science, or similar 
  •  Good understanding of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting 
  •  Basic knowledge of servers, backups, and infrastructure management 
  •  Strong documentation mindset and process-oriented thinking 
  •  Comfortable supporting both technical systems and non-technical users 
  •  Ability to be physically present at least 2 days per week (ideally 3) at our partner’s offices in central Athens 
  •  Greek and English communication skills

Good to have

  •  Familiarity with Azure, AWS, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or SAP B1 environments is a strong plus

Team

 You’ll work across two business environments: part of your week supporting WeConnect’s internal infrastructure and part supporting one of our long-term partner companies in central Athens. You’ll collaborate with internal teams, external IT specialists, and business users, gradually becoming a key operational person who improves systems, support, and documentation over time.
