Enerwave is currently seeking an Energy Market Analyst who will analyze and interpret energy market trends and data to provide insights for decision-making and identify business opportunities. The role involves closely monitoring and evaluating market conditions and developments to understand the dynamics of the energy sector. Responsibilities include collecting and assessing data, conducting research, developing models, and generating reports.

Responsibilities

Performs advanced quantitative and qualitative analysis of energy markets including supply and demand trends and emerging technologies.
Develops models and forecasts to predict future market trends and support the Division's short and long term planning.
Evaluating the activities and strategies of competitors in the energy market to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
Collects and analyzes data from multiple sources to identify patterns and insights.
Prepares and sends reports regarding the energy market. Communicates findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
Evaluates regulatory changes and their potential impact on the energy market.
Coordinates with IT for the design and implementation of automated reports and checks the final results. Checks and validates data stored in ENMA databases. In case of discrepancies coordinates the appropriate actions for the correction.

A BSc in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, and Science.
2-5 years experience in a relevant field.
Strong knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent command of Greek and English (written and spoken).
Competence in Data Visualization tools/ data analysis tools would be considered an asset.
Strong analytical skills to analyze complex data and provider insights.
Good understanding of energy markets.
Problem solving skills in order to identify problems and provide creative solutions to address them.
Strong research skills to gather and asses market information.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Regulatory and Policy understanding.
Understanding of economic principles and financial concepts will be considered an asset.
