Basic Information

We are seeking a key member of our Stainless Steel Division in Thessaloniki. The Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and managing strategic B2B customer relationships within the tinplate and metal sector. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, expanding the client portfolio, and ensuring profitable and sustainable sales growth across both domestic and export markets. A key part of the role involves maintaining strong partnerships with industrial clients and optimizing the company’s commercial presence across the value chain. This role is part of a long-term succession and growth plan.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage existing and new B2B customer accounts in both domestic and international markets.
  • Present technical and commercial solutions aligned with customer requirements and product specifications.
  • Monitor market trends, analyze competition, and recommend improvements to the commercial strategy.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and partnership terms with clients. 
  • Oversee order management, delivery timelines, and invoicing processes.
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Warehouse, and Purchasing departments to ensure accurate and timely order execution.
  • Contribute to the preparation of annual and periodic sales forecasts, as well as the definition of sales targets and KPIs.
  • Play an active role in training, mentoring, and supporting junior members of the sales team.
  • Ensure compliance with quality procedures and commercial policies in line with ISO 9001:2015 standards.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in sales of industrial or technical products, ideally in metals, raw materials, or construction materials. 
  • University degree, preferably in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical) or a related field. 
  • Additional studies or certifications in Economics, Business Administration, or Marketing will be considered an asset. 
  • Solid background in technical sales, preferably B2B, with the ability to combine commercial insight and technical understanding. 
  • Strong capability to comprehend technical applications and present tailored solutions that meet customer needs. 
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, combined with commercial maturity and the ability to build long-term partnerships and a strong professional network. 
  • Ability to perform under demanding timelines and willingness to travel within Greece and internationally. 
  • Excellent command of English (both written and spoken). 
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.
