We are looking for a Credit Controller – Treasury Officer with strong organizational skills, accountability, and excellent communication ability to enhance our financial operations and support our client relationships.

Responsibilities

Proactively monitor customer accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances and overdue receivables
Conduct regular follow-up communications with clients via phone and email to resolve payment delays and secure outstanding payments.
Manage and maintain the accounts receivable ledger, ensuring accurate recording and reconciliation of customer transactions.
Issue, review, and track financial documents, including invoices, credit notes, receipts, and account statements.
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, payment disputes, and account queries in collaboration with internal stakeholders and customers.
Monitor customer credit limits and payment behavior, escalating potential credit risks when necessary.
Coordinate collection activities and implement effective recovery strategies to minimize aged debt and improve cash flow.
Process and reconcile incoming payments, banking transactions, and customer account balances.
Collaborate closely with Accounting, Sales, and Customer Service teams to ensure efficient debt collection and account management.
Prepare regular accounts receivable, collections, and cash flow reports, providing insights on outstanding debt and collection performance.

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
At least 2 years of relevant experience in treasury or credit control
Excellent knowledge of Excel and core ERP systems
Strong organizational skills, consistency, and professionalism
Excellent interpersonal skills and client communication
