With a growing presence across Greece and Southeastern Europe, DAY GROUP delivers projects defined by architectural excellence, sustainability, and enduring investment value. With multiple construction projects running simultaneously, we are now looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our in-house finance team and take ownership of the accounting and cost-tracking function across our project portfolio.

Responsibilities

Manage all day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate and structured recording of transactions across multiple active construction projects.
Validate and process supplier and subcontractor invoices and coordinate with site teams on deliveries and certifications.
Oversee cost center accounting in Softone, ensuring all transactions are correctly coded by project and material type to enable meaningful cost analysis per site.
Liaise with Softone developers to parameterize the system for structured, information-rich data entry — enabling real-time visibility into material consumption per project.
Prepare and upload daily payment batches for management approval, coordinating the full cycle from certification to invoice issuance and bank submission.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports, including cash flow monitoring and financial planning support.
Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and public authorities, and ensure full compliance with Greek Accounting Standards and tax legislation.
Contribute to the design and implementation of internal accounting processes and controls to support the company's growing project pipeline.

Requirements

Accounting

Finance

Tax Accounting

University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5+ years of proven experience in a similar accounting role.
A' class accounting license.
Solid knowledge of Greek Accounting Standards and tax legislation.
Experience with cost center accounting and project-level financial tracking.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Very good command of English.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities across concurrent projects.
