Basic Information

On behalf of our client, an established fashion retailer operating multiple stores in Greece, we are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Fashion Buyer & Merchandiser to manage seasonal buying, stock performance, and replenishment across all stores — building commercially relevant product assortments and ensuring each location carries the right product mix at the right time.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute seasonal buys in collaboration with senior management, based on budget, historical performance, customer demand, and market trends.
  • Attend showrooms, buying appointments, and trade fairs to select brands and products for upcoming seasons.
  • Build balanced assortments by brand, category, price point, size, and store location — and negotiate prices, margins, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
  • Monitor sales, sell-through, margins, stock turn, and inventory levels across all stores — identifying best sellers and underperforming products and recommending timely reorders, markdowns, or stock movements.
  • Manage stock replenishment, reorders, and inter-store transfers based on product performance and local demand.
  • Visit stores regularly to review product performance, support Store Managers, and gather market and customer feedback.
  • Train Store Managers and retail teams on new collections, product knowledge, and merchandising priorities.
  • Prepare regular sales and stock reports with clear recommendations to senior management.
