Basic Information

SYNTAX IT Group is seeking a Cyber Security Consultant to strengthen their professional services team. In this position, you will advance clients' Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) frameworks and ensure alignment with industry standards and legislative requirements.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to assess and enhance the organization's security posture and GRC activities
Act as vCISO and establish ISMS frameworks according to industry standards such as ISO27001
Create or review information security documentation including Policies, Standards, and Procedures
Perform Security Awareness Training
Gather information on existing security controls and assist in identifying KPIs
Review or implement Security Assessment Frameworks
Conduct security assessments against specific scopes or across entire organizations
Review or implement Third-Party Security Assessment Frameworks
Conduct Third Party Risk Assessments remotely or on-site
Perform Gap Analysis against industry standards, legislations, and provide compliance roadmaps
Liaise with various teams to collect, analyze, and present information to stakeholders

B.Sc. degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Governance, Risk & Compliance relevant domains
Experience with Security Documentation & Security Awareness
Experience with Cyber Risk Management
Knowledge of ISO standards such as 27001, 22301, 31000, 42001, 20000
Knowledge of legislations such as GDPR, NIS2, DORA
Experience with Third Party Risk Management
Proficiency in both Greek and English
Effective communication and presentation abilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively or independently as required
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels
