Basic Information

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our Delivery team to analyze complex datasets, develop advanced analytics solutions, and support data-driven decision-making processes. This role involves working with diverse teams to solve real-world business challenges across industries such as Banking, Telecommunications, and Retail.

Responsibilities

Data mining and extracting usable data from business data sources
Use of machine learning tools to select features and create and optimize classifiers
Preprocess structured and unstructured data
Enhance data collection procedures to include all relevant information for developing analytic systems
Process, clean and validate the integrity of data to be used for analysis
Analyze large amounts of information to find patterns and solutions
Develop prediction systems and machine learning algorithms
Propose solutions and strategies to tackle business challenges
Work closely with stakeholders including business analysts, IT team, project managers, data scientists and engineers
Present graphically the results of the process

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
At least 3 years of proven work experience as a Data Scientist
Extensive experience in data mining, interpreting and cleaning data as well as in machine learning
Advanced programming skills with knowledge of Python, SQL or R
Working experience with Microsoft Azure Technology and Databricks or similar technology
Data visualization and data wrangling experience
Very good knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques including clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.
Very good applied statistical skills, including knowledge of statistical tests, distributions, regression, maximum likelihood estimators, etc.
Excellent communication skills to describe findings to technical and non-technical audiences
Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken
