• Gaining hands-on exposure to Databricks and the modern data lakehouse architecture.
• Building and optimizing data pipelines using Databricks Workspace, SQL, and Apache Spark.
• Processing large-scale datasets efficiently using distributed computing frameworks.
• Implementing data governance frameworks and quality monitoring within Databricks environments.
• Designing and implementing data integration flows across cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Working with ETL/ELT tools, APIs, and scripting languages to move, transform, and expose data between different applications.
• Designing data models and schemas optimized for analytical and operational workloads.
• Implementing data quality checks and monitoring frameworks to ensure data reliability.
• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Informatics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar technical course of study.
• Communication Skills: Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Technical Foundation:
• Experience with Python programming language.
• Fundamental knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Basic knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively within a team, while also working independently when needed.
• Growth Mindset: Commitment to continuous learning and improvement throughout the course.

• Cloud Experience: Initial hands-on experience in a cloud environment with one of the major Hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Data Engineering & Platform Knowledge: Knowledge of Apache Spark or distributed computing frameworks.
• Exposure to data engineering concepts, ETL/ELT tools, or data platforms.
• Familiarity with data warehousing or data lake concepts.
• Language Skills: Knowledge of German language.
