Basic Information

MEIDANIS, a leading Greek electrical equipment and solutions company with 35 stores and a growing B2B operation, is seeking a Demand Planner for its Supply Chain team. The role is newly established and will manage demand, forecasting, replenishment and inventory planning, and help implement a new Demand & Supply Planning solution, acting as a link between the Central Warehouse in Aspropyrgos, Sales, Product and store teams.

Responsibilities

Monitor demand, sales and inventory levels, identifying deviations and potential availability issues.
Manage the forecasting process, including New Product Introduction (NPI) and products in phase-out, and plan company requirements.
Take ownership of the implementation and effective use of a new Demand & Supply Planning solution, supporting forecasting, replenishment and inventory planning capabilities.
Monitor forecast accuracy and analyse root causes of deviations between forecast and actual sales.
Determine and monitor replenishment requirements and develop the corresponding order planning.
Work with the Logistics team to evaluate deviations in delivery ETAs and adjust the replenishment plan accordingly.
Monitor and evaluate inventory levels, slow-moving / excess stock and potential stock-out risks.
Collect, process and analyse data from ERP and WMS systems.
Develop and monitor reports and KPIs to assess Supply Chain performance.
Work closely with the Central Warehouse to monitor product availability and ensure smooth product flow.
Collaborate with Procurement, Sales, Product Managers, Logistics and other relevant functions to coordinate business needs.
Identify and proactively escalate potential deviations, shortages or other risks to the Supply Chain Manager.
Take ownership of data analysis, day-to-day planning activities and improvement projects with the Supply Chain Manager.
Contribute to the development and standardisation of the company's Demand & Supply Planning processes.

BSc in Supply Chain, Logistics, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
3–5 years of professional experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Planning, Demand Planning or a similar role.
Very good knowledge of MS Excel and strong ability to work with and analyse data.
Good command of English.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different functions.
Proactive, reliable and eager to develop a deep understanding of Supply Chain operations.
