SICOA is a consultancy specializing in Custom Software development, Training, Business Process Management and Workflow Automation. Through developing custom software we help our clients streamline their business processes and automate their day-to-day work, optimizing their workflow and helping increase their productivity. We are looking for a Junior Full Stack (Laravel/PHP) Developer to join our team!

The position is ideal for developers/engineers with initiative, that are looking to be challenged every day with the development of complex, innovative solutions. You will be working in teams so a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.

Responsibilities

As our Full Stack Developer:

You will be responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users.
Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
You will be responsible to help build & integrate the front-end elements into the application. Being proficient in front-end technologies is necessary as well.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of Laravel or any other PHP web framework
Proficiency in JavaScript
Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages
Familiarity with RESTful APIs
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds
Understanding the fundamental design principles behind a scalable application

Understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
Understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP
Understanding of MVC design patterns
Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming
Proficiency inDOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
Experience with React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
Knowledge of isomorphic React
A knack for benchmarking and optimization
Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
