Basic Information

On behalf of our client, a startup IT company specializing in the domain of cybersecurity, we are looking for a resourceful and passionate Scrum Master.

The candidate will lead our development teams in embracing and implementing Scrum practices, fostering collaboration, and delivering high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

Act as a servant leader, facilitating and coaching the development teams to adopt and adhere to Scrum principles, values, and practices.
Guide and mentor multiple Scrum teams in planning, estimating, and executing software development projects, ensuring adherence to agile methodologies.
Foster a collaborative and self-organizing environment that empowers teams to continuously improve and deliver value to our customers.
Facilitate Scrum events such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and transparency.
Identify and resolve impediments that could hinder the progress of the teams, removing any obstacles and promoting a sense of urgency and accountability.
Collaborate closely with Product Owners and other stakeholders to ensure the product backlog is well-groomed, prioritized, and refined, promoting a clear understanding of the desired outcomes.
Encourage a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and experimentation, fostering an environment where teams feel safe to take risks and learn from failures.
Monitor and report on key metrics, such as team velocity, sprint burndown, and release forecasting, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging agile frameworks, advocating for their adoption when beneficial to the organization.
Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to foster cross-team collaboration, share learnings, and drive consistency in agile practices across the organization.

Requirements

Agile Leadership

Agile Project Management

At least 3 years of working experience in Agile Software Development, as a Scrum Master, Project Manager or Developer.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Deep understanding of agile methodologies, frameworks, and principles (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Lean), with a track record of applying them effectively to deliver value.
Strong facilitation and coaching skills, with the ability to foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve complex problems and conflicts, promoting a solutions-oriented mindset.
Proficient in using agile project management tools and software development practices.
Continuous learner with a growth mindset, passionate about staying updated on industry trends and emerging agile practices.
