To expand our creative and dynamic team in Athens, we are seeking an Innovation Project Manager. You will be part of the core team responsible for setting up the innovation proposal strategy, preparing upcoming innovation proposals, managing internal projects, and ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. This is an incredible opportunity for a business-passionate individual with a technical background to support our team to expand further. You should be a team player and a self-motivated person, working with all team members and external partners.

The Innovation Project Manager will prepare, manage, and submit high-quality proposals while monitoring the progress of ongoing projects. The successful candidate will be able to manage his/her time and effectively communicate the project's objectives to the team. The IPM will follow up to capture administrative and financial information and support technical experts in collating information. The incumbent will be given at a later stage the opportunity to supervise junior staff in select technical areas.

Responsibilities

  • Manage ongoing projects with the necessary organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Manage proposal and project implementation strategy on a quarterly basis
  • Prepare the necessary documentation for innovation RnD proposals
  • Comfortable handling complex topics and confidential information
  • Collaborate with internal experts on AI and Robotics topics whenever necessary
  • Team meeting arrangements and orchestration for monitoring the project’s deliverables

  • BSc/MSc degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Business IT
  • Technical background, understanding of software development/product development
  • 2+ years of experience in a results-focused professional environment (e.g. startup)
  • Excellent analytical and time management skills
  • Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • Client-facing experience and a proven ability to engage with 3rd parties when necessary
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Office Suite
