We’re looking for a motivated and curious Intern Data Scientist to join our growing product team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with real-world data, developing analytical models, and contributing to product improvements that help athletes and coaches optimize their training. 

Responsibilities

As an intern, you’ll work closely with our data science and engineering teams, supporting data-driven decision-making and contributing to innovative solutions. This role will give you exposure to data analysis, machine learning, and cloud-based data infrastructure, setting you up for a strong career in data science. 

Your role will include: 
  • Data Analysis & Insights: Explore and analyze datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that drive product enhancements.
  • Collaboration: Work with engineering, product, and sport science teams to integrate data-driven solutions into our platform.
  • Visualization & Reporting: Create dashboards and reports to communicate key findings to stakeholders in a clear and actionable way.

What We’re Looking For: 
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Exposure to data visualization tools.
  • Interest in working with cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies.
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Recruitment process

  2. Intro Call (~30 minutes: A quick call to get to know each other better. This is an opportunity for us to learn about your skills, interests, and career goals, and for you to ask any questions about the role, team, or company.
  3. Take-Home Coding Assessment: A short, practical exercise designed to show off your skills. It shouldn’t take more than a couple of hours and is closely tied to the kind of work you’d be doing in the role.
  4. Technical Interview (~90 minutes): A 90-minute session where we’ll dive into your coding assessment, explore your CV, and discuss your experience with the tools and technologies we use. This is a great chance to show us your problem-solving approach and technical know-how.
  5. Final Interview: A conversation to wrap up any remaining questions and dig a little deeper into how your skills and goals align with what we’re building. It’s also your chance to make sure we’re the right fit for you.
