Role Overview

We are seeking for a Product Development Engineer to join our team in Thessaloniki. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, optimizing, and advancing our product line. This position bridges engineering, production, and marketing functions, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of functionality, efficiency, and compliance. The ideal candidate will be passionate about innovation, and continuous improvement within the building materials industry. 

Responsibilities

  • Research market trends, design new products and improve existing ones to enhance functionality and efficiency.
  • Create and maintain 3D models, technical drawings and an organized product database using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Product Specialist to conduct product testing and ensure optimal performance before launch.
  • Oversee production processes, optimize manufacturing efficiency and support the smooth implementation of new and redesigned products.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, managing certification processes and quality checks.
  • Manage testing related to tools and materials, coordinate product introductions, and refine technical specifications.
  • Develop technical documentation, datasheets, and promotional materials in collaboration with Marketing.
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Procurement, Sales, and Marketing to ensure streamlined product development.

  •  BSc/BA in a technical field (Mechanical or Civil Engineering preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in product engineering or a related role.
  • Expertise in 3D product design (Siemens NX, PTC Creo, Autodesk Inventor, Solid Edge, or SolidWorks).
  • Excellent computer skills and strong command in English.
  • Solid understanding of the construction materials industry.
