Basic Information

The Business Application Analyst for SAP FI & CO will be responsible for translating business requirements into IT solutions, actively participating in the analysis, design, implementation, testing, and support of SAP FI/CO related processes and other financial applications including myData and planning budgeting applications.

Responsibilities

Participate in the analysis, design, implementation and test of business applications change, focusing on SAP R3 ERP and mainly in the areas of Financials (FI, CO) and other financial applications.
Participate in the analysis, implementation and support of SAP myData (AADE e-Books, e-Invoicing).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams either within the Business Application Section or other Business Units to ensure seamless integration with other business applications.
Form the focal contact for users and vendors for SAP changes and supports issues.
Conduct configuration/ parameterization on SAP for customizing purposes. Evaluates technical proposals from vendors and provide recommendations. Proposes application's enhancements to better meet business needs and provides related documentation.
Develop and execute test scenarios and 1st level testing in solutions provided by vendors and reviews and confirms successful completion of test scenarios by the key users.
Define release plans, conducts Readiness Assessments and executes deployment plans as part of the Release Management & Service Introduction procedure.
Perform requests and incidents classification and investigation under existing SLAs and proceeds to resolution actions. Assesses severity on incidents reported from Key Users to provide 1st level and 2nd level support and escalates issues for 3rd level support to the Business Application Team Leader or vendors and then evaluates solutions provided.
Ensure proper technical and user documentation is provided for the system implementations/changes.
Monitor UAT systems and ensure the periodical update from production platforms ensuring that test environment landscape is provided for all applications.

Requirements

BSc in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
2-3 years of hands-on experience in SAP R3 ERP support, specifically in the FI/CO modules and myData.
Strong knowledge of Greek taxation and accounting principles.
Familiarity with the processes of SAP MM, PM, and SD modules.
Experience with SAP FI/CO customization tasks.
Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance is a plus.
Familiarity with SAP Fiori applications and reporting tools is an advantage.
Basic understanding of e-Invoicing solutions and their integration with SAP ERP.
Exposure to other financial and business applications.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to analyze complex business processes.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
