On behalf of our partner, a corporate services provider supporting one of the largest industrial groups in Southeast Europe, we are seeking an Operational Excellence Senior Trainer. This is a unique opportunity for professionals passionate about lean transformation and hands-on coaching within the manufacturing sector, looking to make a real impact across multiple global sites.
The role is designed for individuals who are ready to embrace relocation and gain valuable international experience, working across manufacturing plants in Greece and abroad (particularly in Bulgaria). As a Senior Trainer, you will actively contribute to the development and expansion of the Operational Excellence Program, helping teams at every level of the plants to improve processes and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead training sessions for both leadership and shop-floor teams across different plants. Focus on transferring knowledge in Operational Excellence processes, systems, and tools.
  • Spend significant time at the plants to train, coach, and develop teams, ensuring the effective implementation of the Operational Excellence program.
  • Analyze production, maintenance, and quality data to identify areas for improvement. Create loss trees to track and reduce inefficiencies aligned with KPI targets.
  • Work closely with Plant Continuous Improvement Managers and leadership teams. Partner with central teams to continuously improve processes and systems.
  • Advocate for change throughout the transformation journey, support plant leaders, and assist them in applying new systems and tools.
  • Effectively communicate the vision and content of the Operational Excellence Program to all plant levels. Help foster a culture of continuous improvement and build leadership capabilities.
  • Identify and share best practices across plants and promote ongoing improvement through advanced methodologies like Lean 6σ, TPM, VSM, and others.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or Industrial Management.
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing operations, ideally with a background in production, maintenance, or continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures.
  • Expertise in Lean methodologies (e.g., Lean 6σ).
  • Experience in project management and problem-solving tools.
  • Ability and availability to travel extensively, with the majority of the working time spent at manufacturing plants.
  • Willingness to relocate for short-term assignments.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and SAP modules.
  • Advanced business writing and speaking skills in both Greek and English.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Capable of teaching, coaching, and providing constructive feedback at all levels.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at various levels.
