Basic Information

 The Construction & Development Manager is responsible for the comprehensive planning, coordination, and supervision of construction projects related to the development and renovation of the company’s physical retail store network. This role requires strategic thinking, strong technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects and teams, ensuring timely and high-quality project delivery within budget. 

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., Commercial, Sales, Visual Merchandising) to design floor plans for new or renovated retail locations. 
  •  Manage and oversee complex construction and renovation projects nationwide, from initial design through to final delivery. 
  •  Select, supervise, and evaluate external partners, contractors, and technical teams. 
  •  Develop and monitor project budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost control. 
  •  Contribute to the preparation of technical specifications and participate in tender processes for procurement of materials and contracting services. 
  •  Assess infrastructure and urban planning parameters for properties under consideration for commercial leasing. 
  •  Lead and develop the Construction & Development team, enhancing performance and technical capabilities. 
  •  Conduct regular site visits across Greece, according to project needs and operational planning. 

Requirements

Architectural Design
Engineering
  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field. 
  •  Minimum of 5 years’ of experience in a similar role, preferably within the retail or real estate development sectors. 
  •  Excellent knowledge of the construction lifecycle and relevant regulations. 
  •  Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with a structured, results-oriented approach. 
  •  Experience in team leadership and managing external collaborators. 
  •  Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools. 
  •  Willingness to travel within Greece. 

Desirable Qualifications:
  •  Strong communication and negotiation skills. 
  •  Commercial awareness and a keen eye for detail. 
  •  Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving retail environment.
