We are looking for an HSQE Manager to join the company.

The Group HSQE Manager holds overall strategic responsibility for the development, leadership, governance, and continuous improvement of the Group’s Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental (HSQE) framework.

The role ensures full compliance with corporate HSQE standards, continuous enhancement of industrial safety and asset integrity, protection of employees, facilities, and the environment, as well as reduction of environmental footprint.

Responsibilities

  • Defines and drives the Group HSQE strategy aligned with business objectives, investments, and growth, while advising the Board on industrial risk, regulatory exposure, sustainability, and operational resilience.
  • Establishes and continuously improves Group HSQE standards and governance, ensuring consistency across all entities and addressing strategic gaps in process safety, environmental risk, audit readiness, and safety culture.
  • Leads the Group HSQE function, setting policies, standards, and governance processes, while providing functional leadership across all sites and reporting KPIs, risks, and improvement initiatives to senior leadership and the Board.
  • Ensures full compliance with HSE, environmental, and chemical regulations, while leading Process Safety Management and overseeing HSQE risk mapping within the corporate risk framework.
  • Drives operational excellence across all sites by ensuring consistent implementation of HSQE standards, improving performance KPIs, and leading major incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
  • Advances sustainability and continuous improvement by driving environmental footprint reduction, safety culture transformation, and HSQE systems maturity.
  • Oversees certifications (ISO standards), audit frameworks, and relationships with regulators and external stakeholders.

  • BSc in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in HSQE within an industrial/chemical environment, including multi-site or regional/global responsibility.
  • Proven experience in strategic HSQE leadership and governance.
  • Strong expertise in process safety and chemical risk management.
  • Experience managing teams across multiple geographic locations.
  • Excellent command of English.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.
