About the Team
You will join a specialized Design team based in Paiania, Athens, reporting to the Design Manager. The team works across multiple concurrent projects, from proposal stage through to commissioning, covering Power Plants, High & Extra-High Voltage Substations, Industrial Facilities, and Data Centers, both in Greece and internationally, with key projects currently underway in Poland and the UK.
This is not a hands-on drafting role. The role focuses on study, review, and technical specification — owning the engineering judgment behind each project, not the drafting board.
Review and evaluate HVAC conceptual, basic, and detailed design deliverables prepared by external design partners
Develop and review technical specifications and datasheets for HVAC equipment (large-scale HVAC, ventilation, and cooling systems)
Review Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams, System & Functional Descriptions, Control Diagrams, and General Arrangement drawings
Evaluate supplier proposals for HVAC equipment procurement
Coordinate with BMS vendors and the Electrical department to ensure correct system integration and MCC panel sizing
Support construction and installation teams — including on-site reviews and study revisions as needed
Conduct site supervision visits to observe and verify construction and installation progress (occasional travel, typically a few days per quarter or per project milestone)
Support FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities
Participate in design review meetings from proposal approval through to commissioning
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
1–2+ years of experience that includes HVAC study/engineering review
Strong ability to read and critically evaluate technical studies and design documentation
Excellent command of the English language (projects are predominantly international)
Knowledge of relevant HVAC codes and standards
Critical thinking, attention to detail, and troubleshooting capability
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
