Basic Information

SABO, a Greek manufacturing company operating globally, seeks an Automation Engineer to design and implement electrical automation projects. You will work with a highly motivated team choosing automation materials, programming PLCs and SCADA applications, and commissioning projects across multiple industries.

Responsibilities

Choose the right automation and low voltage materials for projects
Program PLCs, HMI devices and SCADA applications based on company standard software modules and guidelines
Select, parameterize, and commission inverters and other drive types
Write operations manuals based on company guidelines and templates
Commission projects including checking electrical installations, testing IO connections, setting up field instruments, conducting no-load and full production tests
Train customer personnel and participate in after-sales service

University degree in Engineering (Master's degree preferred)
Knowledge of automation devices principles such as PLC, SCADA, inverters, and measuring instruments
Knowledge of PLC STEP7 programming language and Siemens TIA development environment
Knowledge of programming languages such as VBS, C, C#, JavaScript
Basic knowledge of low voltage electrical equipment and electrical design, especially with EPLAN
Problem solving ability by searching and studying technical information and manuals
Ability to write clear and concise technical reports mainly in Greek
Knowledge of MS Office (Excel)
Excellent knowledge of English language, spoken and written
Interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build effective business relationships
