We are looking for an Automation & Electrical Design Team Lead to lead our production automation team and take ownership of the electrical design behind our products - from EPLAN schematics through the construction, wiring, testing, and debugging of elevator electrical panels.

Responsibilities

Plan, assign, and prioritize the team's daily workload; monitor progress and remove blockers
Own and approve the electrical diagrams for elevators designed in EPLAN, including revision control, standardization and BOM accuracy
Oversee the construction, wiring, testing and troubleshooting of elevator control panels, and step in hands-on when needed
Define and monitor process KPIs; propose and implement improvements
Ensure daily process inspections, quality standards and compliance with applicable electrical safety standards
Participate in production planning and capacity forecasting together with the Production Manager
Coach, train and evaluate team members, and support their technical and professional development
Maintain technical documentation, work instructions and design libraries

Team Leadership

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field
5+ years of relevant experience in automation or electrical design, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Experience leading or coordinating a technical team
Good command of English and proficient in Microsoft Office
Strong, hands-on command of Eplan (Electric P8, AutoCAD Electrical, or equivalent) and electrical schematic design
Solid understanding of low-voltage control panel construction, wiring and testing
Analytical thinking and structured problem solving
Ability to prioritize, plan and deliver to deadlines in a production environment
Communication and people skills- able to motivate a team and collaborate across departments
