Torsion is an engineering consultancy based in Athens, specializing in structural design. The company’s team of Engineers delivers innovative, efficient, and high-quality design solutions for infrastructure, industrial, and residential projects worldwide. We are looking for a Structural Team Leader to join our team.

Responsibilities

Leads and manages a team of structural engineers.
Reviews and approves engineering assumptions, analysis methodologies, and key technical decisions within the team's scope.
Distributes workload, sets priorities, and monitors deliverable quality and deadlines across the team.
Evaluates alternative solutions based on safety, engineering justification, constructability, and technical risk.
Reviews key calculations, drawings, and technical reports before issuance.
Mentors and develops team members on design methodology, applicable codes, and standards.
Assesses technical complexity of new projects during bidding and planning phases.
Supports the preparation of technical proposals and tenders.

Requirements

Civil Design

Engineering

Master’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
7+ years of proven experience in structural design, with strong focus on steel or concrete structures.
Strong knowledge of Sofistik, ETABS, Idea statica, Sofiplus, Robot, AutoCAD, revit.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Fluency in English
