Our client, QPROJECT, is a growing construction company delivering high-quality projects across the residential, commercial, retail, hotel, office, and industrial sectors.

As part of the continued development of its Business Development team, the company is looking to hire a Tendering / Procurement Engineer. The position is part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for the tendering and pre-construction process, from the initial review of a client's invitation and project documentation through site visits, quantity take-offs, cost estimation, subcontractor and supplier quotations, and the preparation of the final commercial proposal.

Responsibilities

Review tender invitations, project documentation, drawings, specifications, and requirements.
Participate in initial site visits to understand the project scope and site conditions.
Carry out detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimations.
Request and collect quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
Evaluate and compare technical and commercial offers.
Participate in negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors regarding pricing and commercial terms.
Contribute to the preparation and review of the overall project cost.
Assist in the preparation of tender documentation and final commercial proposals.
Maintain accurate records of quotations, pricing, supplier information, and tender data.
Support procurement activities, including supplier sourcing, evaluation, and coordination.
Monitor supplier and subcontractor performance, pricing, availability, and compliance with agreed requirements.
Provide support to project teams during the execution phase when required.
Ensure compliance with company procedures, contractual requirements, and the applicable Greek construction legislation.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
Ideally 3+ years of experience in construction, with solid exposure to site operations.
Experience in tendering, estimating, quantity surveying, procurement, or subcontractor management.
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
Good understanding of construction methods, materials, quantities, and project costs.
Knowledge of the Greek legal and regulatory framework for construction will be considered an advantage.
Good knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office, particularly Excel.
Familiarity with MS Project and project scheduling is desirable.
Very good command of written and spoken English.
Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
