We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for the full-cycle design, development, and commissioning of industrial automation solutions including custom machinery and robotic systems. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong analytical skills, and is passionate about turning complex conceptual requirements into robust, manufacturable mechanical solutions.

Responsibilities

Design & Development: Lead the design of mechanical assemblies and components for industrial machinery from concept through final documentation.
DFM/DFA Implementation: Ensure all designs are optimized for manufacturing and assembly (DFM/DFA) to maximize efficiency and minimize cost.
Technical Documentation: Create high-quality engineering drawings, detailed Bill of Materials (BOMs), and assembly instructions, ensuring strict adherence to GD&T standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with electrical engineers and software teams to ensure seamless integration of sensors, actuators, and control systems into the mechanical framework.
Vendor Liaison: Communicate directly with equipment vendors, machine shops and fabrication partners to troubleshoot production issues and ensure part quality.

Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
3+ years of professional experience specifically in industrial machinery or product design.
Strong grasp of mechanical fundamentals, including power transmission, pneumatics and structural mechanics.
Proven track record of active involvement in the physical assembly, debugging and shop-floor testing of machinery. Must be comfortable utilizing standard hand tools and measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators) and diagnostic tools to validate proper mechanical function.
