Engineers in Action Graduate Programme – Wave 10 | Greece Turn your engineering knowledge into action with METLEN

Our flagship Engineers in Action Graduate Programme is now entering its 10th cycle, offering early-career engineers the opportunity to contribute to real projects, develop their capabilities and build a strong foundation for their future careers.

Your 12-month journey

As an Engineer in Action, you will gain hands-on experience within one of METLEN’s Business Units or Corporate Functions and work alongside experienced professionals on projects with real business impact. Opportunities are expected across: 
  • M Renewables – Energy Transition: Renewable energy, solar and energy storage projects
  • Integrated Utility: Energy generation, management and customer solutions
  • International Energy Supply & Trading: Energy markets, supply and trading activities
  • Energy Shared Services: Cross-functional support for Energy operations
  • M Energy Customer Solutions: Innovative energy products and services
  • M Technologies: Advanced engineering and defence technology projects
  • Circular Metals: Sustainable and circular metallurgy solutions
  • METKA ATE: Construction, infrastructure and environmental projects
  • Corporate Functions: Technology, Avokado, HSE, ESG and Sustainability

Positions may be available in Athens, Paiania, Thessaloniki, Agios Nikolaos Viotia, Korinthos and Volos, depending on business needs.

Responsibilities

  •  Support real engineering projects within your assigned team.
  •  Own an individual project and present it midway through and at the end of the programme. 
  •  Collaborate with experienced colleagues across METLEN. 
  •  Analyse challenges and suggest practical improvements.

We welcome applications from graduates across all engineering disciplines with 0–2 years of relevant professional experience.
You should also have:
  • A strong academic engineering background
  • Excellent command of Greek and English
  • Availability to relocate within METLEN’s operational footprint in Greece
  • Completed military service obligations, where applicable
  • A collaborative mindset, willingness to learn and readiness to take responsibility

Graduates of international universities should ensure that their degree meets the applicable Greek recognition requirements.
