Unipakhellas SA (Member of Indevco Group) is looking for an Paper Maker (Assistant Production Manager) that will oversee the production team within the Paper Mill, ensuring efficient operation and safety compliance.
Responsibilities
Supervise the production team for all production operations ensuring proper running of the paper machine and winder (quality & quantity). This includes setting up and adjusting machine to proper specifications and optimizing the machine capability
Optimize machine production output and reduce broke production to ensure manufacturing efficiency and maximum uptime
Conduct training for production personnel and carry out on the job trainings
Assist the Production Manager in selecting the right wire/felt for the machine
Keep all mill machines running in good conditions to maximize uptime
Inform the Plant Manager of any abnormal function in the mill from the machine to the wrapping machine, including machine auxiliaries
Coordinate with the maintenance department for any equipment malfunctioning

10+ years of experience in production management in a paperboard manufacturing facility that produces Testliner and Fluting
Engineering degree (AEI/TEI)
Willing to support the team remotely by phone or to work in the mill after hours in case of emergency
