MINERVA S.A. Edible Oils & Food Enterprises, one of the leading FMCG companies in the Greek and
International market, is looking to hire a qualified professional, for the position of Production Manager in Gastouni, Ilia (Pummaro factory).

As a member of Minerva Team, the Production Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating,
organizing, and controlling the operation of the Production facilities, as well as the implementation of the SAP / MES / TRACER FACTORY software, with effective personnel management, to meet customer needs, in
accordance with quality standards, with the lowest possible operating and financial costs, accelerating the
optimization of the performance of existing human resources and machinery.

Responsibilities

Monitor the design of the production plan and its implementation to ensure the performance of production facilities and services
Ensure the proper implementation and cultivation of principles and rules on health and safety to achieve the minimization of accidents
Ensure the correct application of product quality and safety rules and policies and contribute to their formulation to minimize product quality defects
Cooperate with the other departments to contribute to the implementation of the company's promotions
Coordinate the correct and effective implementation of the SAP system software for the factory with the aim of better and most reliable monitoring/costing & reporting
Participate actively in the creation and development of the vision of its department as well as in the continuous upgrading of production systems to achieve the best possible coverage of the needs of production
Cooperate with the Engineering Team to ensure the smooth operation of the production process and the execution of the Capex projects
Prepare the Factory budget and monitor the costs of its department to meet the levels of the annual budget in question with a view to producing competitive product costs
Understand internal and external customers’ needs and ensure that the necessary actions are carried out to satisfy them
Participate, within the framework of responsibilities, in the planning of future actions concerning the implementation of new policies and procedures to achieve the optimal functioning of the production process
Implement administration practices of its subordinates promoting a high-performance climate
Ensure that there are, implemented and continuously improved "Services Level Agreements" with the
heads of the other departments, promoting inter-sectional communication and efficiency in the
organization

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Production and Management Engineering
Master’s degree in Business Administration or Manufacturing / Supply Chain fields will be considered an asset
8-10 years of working experience in an industrial environment in food production, of which at least 2 in a Managerial position
Excellent knowledge of the English language
Excellent knowledge of MS- Office environment
