Basic Information

Hellas Gold is the leading mining companies for gold, silver, copper, lead, and zinc in Greece and we are looking for a Facility Supervisor & Geologist to oversee the facilities at Sapes site and ensure the smooth operation of the site. Participate in and support geological research and drilling programs.

Responsibilities

Supervise the facilities and personnel at the Sapes site to ensure smooth operation of the site.
Act as the main point of contact for Sapes Communities.
Participate in and support the compiling of the budget and forecasts for the Sapes site.
Collect and file all incoming documents and forward them to the related Departments.
Mapping and collection of geological and geotechnical information.
Routine supervision of drilling activities.
Geologic and geotechnical data collection from drill core.
Responsible for maintaining and collating maps, grade reports, and hydrologic data and assist in updating geological interpretations.
Responsible for recording, analysing, and archiving data for water levels.
Assist and maintenance of geological, geotechnical, and hydrological modelling.
Utilize high end computer software designed for mining operations such as mine design, modelling and mapping.
Help in the optimization of geological systems and procedures as well as ensure that they are being effectively utilized.
Prepare memos, maps, and reports interpreting findings of data collection and evaluation, model updates and provide guidance and
recommendations.
Manage the daily program of all site personnel (technical staff, security guards etc)
Monitor and supervise contracts concerning TMSA during the execution stage
Keep the Corporate and Legal Protocol of documents concerning TMSA.

Requirements

Engineering

Geological Engineering

BSc degree in Geology.
Excellent computers skills.
Proficient in verbal and written English is required.
Efficient Time management.
Judgement and decision making,
Critical thinking.
